AhlulBayt News Agency: On Monday evening, US fighter jets conducted a series of airstrikes on Yemen’s Sanaa and Amran provinces, escalating tensions and targeting multiple districts in both regions.
Local reports confirmed that three airstrikes hit the Bilad al-Rus district in Sanaa, while an equal number struck the Harf Sufyan district in Amran. Specific details regarding the extent of the damage or the precise targets are yet to emerge.
These recent attacks come just hours after previous US airstrikes on Yemen caused devastation, including the bombing of a migrant detention center in Saada province that left 125 people dead or injured. Furthermore, airstrikes on the Thaqban residential area in Sanaa’s Bani al-Harith district resulted in the deaths of eight civilians, including women and children.
The continuation of such operations has raised global concerns, amplifying calls for accountability and an immediate halt to these aggressive acts targeting Yemeni civilians.
